What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember things about you between visits - like whether you are signed in. Insight 360 also uses browser storage APIs, which serve a similar purpose.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary (essential)
These cannot be switched off - without them the product does not work.
- Session / auth tokens - keeps you signed in securely.
- CSRF protection - prevents cross-site request forgery on state-changing actions.
Functional
Remember choices you make so the UI feels consistent.
- Sidebar state - collapsed / expanded, folder filter.
- Theme preference - light / dark mode selection.
Analytics (aggregated)
Help us understand which parts of Insight 360 are used most, so we can improve them. Analytics are aggregated and do not build advertising profiles.
We do not set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or share cookie data with ad networks.
Third-party services
Some cookies are set by services Insight 360 integrates with:
- Supabase - authentication and session cookies.
- Cloudflare - security cookies (bot protection, DDoS mitigation).
- Anthropic - Insight 360 calls Anthropic server-side; Anthropic does not set cookies in your browser through us.
How long they last
- Session cookies - cleared when you close the browser.
- Auth tokens - up to 12 months, refreshed as you use the product.
- Preferences - up to 13 months, or until you clear browser storage.
How to manage cookies
You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out of Insight 360 and prevent you from signing back in.
POPIA & GDPR
Essential cookies rely on legitimate interest - we need them to deliver the service you asked for. Functional and analytics cookies are used in a privacy-respecting way, without cross-site tracking. Where consent is required by your local law, we will ask for it before setting non-essential cookies.
